I am unable to stat the SEP. It gives this error.

this error is due to some file missing in symantec antivirus. u try to reinstall it

Error 0x800736b1 AVG - resolved by START-RUN-services.msc - WINDOWS INSTALLER -make it automatic and start it.

Try installing vcredist_x86.exe first and then try installing avg etc..

This is most likely caused by a change in the user acount password that you created the profile with. Under network select Logon account Managment. in here you will see the accounts that you used to login to the Domain. (AD) Consider setting up separate accounts (backup, etc) for these services & scheduled jobs, rather than using the admin or personal accounts. This way you can still change the admin account password on a regular basis & maintain security, but not have to go the hassle of updating all of these at each change. You may also opt to set these specific accounts so that the passwords do not expire automatically so that you do not have to deal with that scenario.

I have seen this particular link as a common solution to certain versions when starting a manual scan.. It had to do with the timing of the way the services loaded with the system.
If this is not the error number than more specific information could help me to solve it.
