Can't remove hard drive from veriton m410;

I removed the screws from below the green bracket but unable to pull it out. Something is stopping it. Is there a spring I should locate or something else?

How do i get the hard drive out?

Gateway GT5056 Desktop Hard Drive Caddy Bracket Holder Mount HDD 2JB35 005

Look at this picture. It should look like the bracket your drive is mounted in. You must remove this caddy to get at the other 2 screws. above where you removed the 2 screws from the side of the drive, there should be a screw that holds this bracket to the frame. You must remove this screw. ALso there may be a spring loaded clip that stops the bracket from sliding out, you must lift or press this before sliding bracket.
good luck

I am unable to remove the hard drive so i i can get to the motherbord

No Way. ok, what's the make and model of your computer? Normally the hard drive is secured by screws that secure the bracket to the cradle or compartment that the drive sits in. After you remove the screws, then you will have to slide the drive backwards to get it unconnected from the interface, then just lift it out of the compartment.

Where is the location & how to remove the hard drive for toshiba satelite P15-S470

Hi,

The hard drive is located under the CD/DVD drive. Before you start taking apart the laptop, remove the battery and unplug the AC power.

1. You have to remove the CD/DVD drive. Turn the laptop over. Remove one screw right above the dive and slide the drive out of the laptop.
2. When the CD/DVD drive is removed, you'll see a metal plate. The metal plate is secured by 4 screws. Remove them and lift up the plate from the bay. The hard drive is located right under the plate.
3. After you remove the plate, you'll see the hard drive. The hard drive also secured by 4 screws. Remove the screws, slide the hard dire to disconnect it from the connector on the moterboard and lift it up.
4. You have to transfer the brackets from the old hard drive to a new hard drive. Also, if there is a foil shielding around the old hard drive, you'll have to transfer it to a new hard drive too.

You may need to remove the front bezel before taking the drive from the bay. there are screws that latch the drive into place, and they are likely hitting the bezel on the way out. Most bezels pop off easily. You should consult Acer tech support for details.
