I have a Danby DHCC6020 dehumidifier/humidifier/air purifier. It stopped working and making a noise. Took it apart and found the noise is the pump that transfers water from the lower to upper tank. The warning indicator light is flashing with no error code. When you plug it in, the transfer pump comes on for a few seconds then stops for a second then runs constantly until you unplug it. Any ideas?

Sounds to me that you need a new pump in there, or it's the motor.

The Danby Service Rep. helped me with my question about my P1 code (for DDR657EE).

Try manually work the float and switch the float controls to make sure it is not hung up. You may need a new switch if that does not work.

Frigidaire dehumidifier model # FDL50S1 clicking very loudly.

If the unit is not running fully, but you have this noise, sounds like the internal fan might be the culprit. Contact your manufacturer for further options.

Lori, the Danby Humidifier, Model # DDR2504 does not have a heating function. It's just a 25 pint dehumidifier. In fact, there are no Danby Dehumidifiers that have a heating function.

By, chance do you have Multifunction Air Conditioning unit, rather than a dehumidifier? If so, please provide the correct model number.

We have a DAnby dehumidifier - model SHCC6026. It keeps showing an E7 error. Is there a simple solution to the problem?

The E7 Error Code, indicates that the front cover of the unit it no properly in place and making contact with it's removal sensors. Remove and reinstall front cover properly. Be sure to turn the Master ON/OFF Switch to OFF and unplug unit before attempting this.

Hope this helped you solve the problem.

The de-humidifier blows heated air. Is this normal?

Hello,

yes, its normal.

Apart from the heated air blowing out, do you notice any kind of fault from the unit or is it malfunction in anyway as a result of the heat?

If the answer to the above question is NO, then there is noting to worry about.

Take care.
