Processor fan start it self without indicate on off switch and no display

1. do you hear any beep from the computer, and which colour does the front LEDs indicate green or red? does any of the keyboard leds blink?
2. the automatic switching on is not a big issue coz it might be caused by the improper bios settings.
there might be a faulty chipset on the motherboard. or you may have recently added another hardware that does not comply with the bios settings.

Fujitsu lifebook s6520 is not comes ON when i press the power button the lifebook comes ON its all LEDs & processor fan sound is listened but then just NUMLOCK led starts blinking after that blinking...

Is the monitor working. If have not checked it try connect it to an external screen. If the screen is okay, try and remove memory (RAM) and after ten seconds you place it backup and start the computer and check.

If a warning light indicates the CPU is not functioning, does that mean I have to get a new processor?

Yes! judging by all the cascade break downs, I would suggest replacing the motherboard, HP has a history with motherboard issues.

Simply blink red light in front or power led light ,no display anything .power on button is on blink red

Try to do a Hard Reset. Disconnect all peripherals connected from the unit (power adapter, monitor, keyboard, etc) then press and hold the power button for around 15 seconds. Plug everything back then power the PC on.

Hope this help. Goodluck!

Blank sreen.Fan is working. LED indicator is lighted but blinking rapidly.

Try a different monitor. If the second monitor doesn't work disconnect the power and then re-seat the video card. Also, check the RAMs - make sure they're seated as well. Start-up the computer and verify that the hard drive LED is blinking randomly - if it is, more than likely the computer is working properly. Your monitor could be bad as well as the video card. If the VGA port is on the motherboard, then you have an on board graphics card instead of a video card. In that case, the motherboard is bad.

Computer wont boot Evo d510

Choose within this options with regards to your monitor: 1. You could replace your monitor with a new one. 2. Or you could send someone or send it to a technician to repair your monitor.
Boot Up Problem: 1. Try checking the Power Supply Unit (PSU) if it give out 12Voltz. If not you could replace it with new PSU. 2. Check the motherboard if there are some blown out Capacitors. If there is, send it to a technician to replace it. If none, replace your Processor. That is the defective. That causes the boot up problem.
On boot up screen. Of course it will not show a boot up screen because there is a problem on your monitor. And so, there is also a problem on your motherboard (Processor or Capacitor).
Hope this might help. Thanks.

K8NGM-V motherboard with AMD Sempron

Hi,

It sounds like the motherboard is shot. A key indicator of this is the lack of hard drive activity. It's not properly transmitting data to the drive, and I doubt it's registering with any of the other components either.

Unfortunately, you're going to have to replace the motherboard.

I hope this was of some help :)

HP Compaq d530

it all depends on the number of flashes , pause, repeat.
Since the problem did not indicate any beeps her is the following info

Power LED blinks RED 2 times, one every second, followed by a
2-second pause. = Processor Thermal Protection Activated

3 blinks 1 second apart = Processor not installed (not an indicator for a bad processor).

4 blinks 1 second apart .= Power Failure (power supply is overloaded)

Other possibilities are:
5 blinks 1 second apart No memory
6 blinks 1 second apart No graphics
7 blinks 1 second apart System board failure (detected prior to video)
8 blinks 1 second apart Invalid ROM
