Hello the manual can be downloaded here:

http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/Intel_Socket_478/P4PEX/#download

Select first your windows system.
Open the manual folder and click on global for download.
Unzip the file and you need adobe reader to read the content.

The cmos battery (C2032) should hold the power for at least 5 years.
The power rating is 3,3 volts.
When the battery power is lost the bios can`t remember the settings
and you have to enter the bios clock settings and etc. everytime you turn on the pc.

The battery looks like this:

This type of battery can be bought almost everywhere.
The battery type is called ( C2032 )

You have to setup the bios settings when you change the battery
and take antistatic precautions when working on the mainboard.

Good luck

I realized I need an AGP to connect a monitor to my Asus P4PE-BP. Will AGP 8X work. Specs call for AGP 4X.

The 8x AGP cards will work in the 4x slot. But the 8x AGP card will lose about 1% to 2% of its performance.
