How do you shut off the menu dialogue box so that it stays off? It appears randomly and when you push the auto button it goes for ror a while then pops back on. Is there a on line manual I can look at. This is my sisters monitor and she does not know the computer very well and gets frustrated.
Same problem here. I've had this monitor almost two years with no
problem until this morning when it started flashing the menu screen and
nothing I do will make it stop. Oh well, it was only a hundred dollars.
I guess this is emachine's way of saying, "you got your money's worth,
now throw this piece of junk away and get another", lol. And therein lies the solution! :)

my compaq FS700 menu screen pops on and off then stays on til i press the menu button. but sometimes it will stay on and not go away
The contrast option keeps popping on the screen and sometimes it remains on the screen for hours together. Any idea what wrong?
