Not all speakers working

Hi all, my logitech 5.1 speakers were working fine until i had to reformat my computer. Now, only the fromt speaker and subwoofer are working (i.e. sound is only coming out from those two). I would greatly appreciate it if some one could help me with this!

Having The Same Problem Is It A Driver Or something I Need? Kinda Pissing Me Off. My Buddy Has The Logitech 5.1 Its A Newer Modle With A Dial For Your EQ And All Of His Work. Why Doesnt He Have The Same Problem As Me (Tried His Speakers On My Computer Worked....) Please Help

Brand new, out of the box. sub is not working. SW-G2.1 1250 model. Any suggestions? No sound from testing, other speakers work, faulty wire? Update drivers? I thought it would have done it automatically. Any help is appreciated, I don't want to return them because of stupidity.

My speakers worked , until i reformatted my windows XP computer. now the speakers are not being detected. the lights are on but nothing is working . please help

Hi, you need to check for problems with your sound driver. To do this go to start, control panal, system, then hardware and finally device manager. If there is a problem your audio device will be highlighted with a yellow ?. You will need to down load and install the latest sound driver for your system. If you are not sure which one; you can do a google search, or try the Realtek AC'97 sound driver, which is free to down load from a google search.

I had to reformat my harddrive and ever since then, my Logitech X-240 speakers don't work. The sound is muffled. If I plug in headphones to my PC or to the headphone port on the power button for these...

It seems odd that your speakers would die after reformatting the driver. I would recommend trying to update the drivers for the sound device. It is possible that some sort of mixer software or enhanced features of the sound card are disabled. Also ensure that they are plugged into the green port on your sound device.

Logitech Soundman S-20 speakers not working after Op Sys reload

Hi Aceofmktg,
go to start menu, control panel, sound. Then here go into the Tabs and select the Speakers. Apply, Done !
If it does not work, then I suggest you to contact the Logitech support for a replacement this is an hardware
failure and it's covered by warranty terms.

Hi,
Follow the procedure for speaker installation here. Verify it.
As this is a very basic output device, it uses the computer's Audio drivers to channel the sound from each speaker correctly. Make sure that your audio driver is installed and working. Other wise open another ticket and give us info on the sound card

are u using vista? cause this is def a driver issue...could be the update Driver they released messed up things or the driver needs a updated from windows...it wouild help if u posted the driver version and Operating system u are using.
