Windows 8 pro, Asus,
It's a commom problem when you upgrade to a new OS, Win 8. You have to find the Win 8 drivers. Is that the only thing? In Device Manager, search for hardware changes, locate Win 8 drivers at ASUS website.
Yea, but there are no Windows 8 drivers available on the asus website :( What i did found was "ATKACPI driver and hotkey-related utilities" Probably the one i need, but it's for windows 7 :\ I'll give it a try.
It worked :D For the people with a similair problem, here is the download link for the driver. It's found under Utilities > ATKACPI driver and hotkey-related utilities.http://support.asus.com/download.aspx?SL...

My side volume buttons on my laptop ASUS N73SV, also the fn+mute(F10)/volumeup(F12)/volumedown(F11) stopped working after i installed windows 8 pro. It worked fine with windows 7, Tho the fn+F5/F6 for brightness, the fn+f7(disablelcd) and fn+f8 (To change to hdmi etc) still work. Any solutions? You can Somtimes use Win 7 drivers. You modify the drivers to be compatible with Win 8. I had to do the same with a Gateway MX6421 (2005) that was updated from Win XP 32bit to Win 7 64bit Pro N.
This may give your a starting point:http://digitaldilemma.wordpress.com/2011...
