Dun worry. I experienced that before..
There is a physical wireless slide switch at the right of the indication light. switch it on first and see if it works.
This is also in respect to your previous problem stated;http://www.fixya.com/support/t12161144-screen_cover_offIt is also in regards to an Asus N50Vn series of Netbook PC.A) Remove ALL power. Remove the AC adapter (Charger) and Battery. If memory serves;B) There are 6 synthetic rubber screw covers. 4 across the top, 2 on the bottom in the corners.I use a computer pick, and gently pry them off. (Lift up on one side) They have a type of rubber cement on them, and if careful, can be reused.Place them on a clean surface.(Yes. They like to stick to the tool, and your fingers)Underneath the 6 screw covers are 6 Philips head screws.Remove them.(Note* Use a multi-compartment container for the various screws you will remove.Label each compartment for the area the screw/s come out of.Do Not mix them up)The thin plastic frame in front of the LCD screen is the LCD Bezel.Resembles a picture frame.Remove it.The outside edges of the Bezel have plastic tabs. These mate with plastic latches in the inside edges, of the Display Cover. This video will help with the Display Bezel removal,http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o7vSFvHphxMPrimer:An LCD screen does not produce light by itself. It needs an additional light source.A Backlight is the additional light source.A Backlight (Present technology) can be a CCFL, or a series of LED's.From what I gather the Asus N50VN series uses LED's.I don't have the exact model number to see if a screen Inverter is offered, or it is included in the purchase of the replacement LCD screen.(To me, would indicate the screen Inverter is an integral part of the LCD screen assembly, for certain N50VN models )Regards, joecoolvette
Please remove any external devices (if connected) to your laptop Remove the power adapter cable Remove the battery Push and hold the power button for 10 seconds, this will remove unwanted charge from the laptop electronics. Then connect the power adapter cable alone and switch the laptop on and check if it is working fine. If not remove the power adapter and connect the battery alone and try if it works fine. If it still does not then we have to remove the other components that are detachable from the laptop like
1. CD / DVD drive 2. Hard drive 3. Memory modules (if you have 2 remove one) 4. PC cards
even after checking with all the above options, if the computer is freezing we can definitely confirm a core hardware issue.
depends on what model you got. However i trust that except you can see a connection antenna connection
(gold circle) port at the right , next to the USB port, the notebook don not have TV card build-in.
However, you can buy a USB TV dongle in place like ebay if you want to watch TV on a computer.
If u have the guts and skills to open what's inside, there is no need send your laptop into service.
The reason is there are hundred of this have this problems and they don't have a clue what's going on.
I am among one of them. And i must say it is not software bug. The problem lies on the connection at the back of the screen.
The connection is loosely connected over time.
So the solution is to stick an electrical tape on the connection.
One to hold the connection longer and two...as the back of the screen has a sheet of foil which serve as ground.
And i suspect that the foil is somehow short-circuit the connection and hence the flickering of some "white noises". The electrical tape would make sure the connection is isolated from the foil.
It is normal for the fan to kick in to cool the processor, but it sounds to me like the CPU fan and the air vents need a good cleaning.
Noisy fans and them running for a length of time means that its having to be on more to keep the processor cool. Other
causes of the fan being loud and on constantly is gaming and heavy programs. The
more the processor has to work the hotter it will get, thus the fan being on all the time.
Have a
look at your air vents and the CPU fan for dust. If you see any dust
then you will need a can of compressed air to blast through the vents
and CPU fan blades free of dust.
Removing the dust from the machine usually quietens them down.
I think its a hardware issue too, If you haven't installed anything I don't see why this would be. Is their any configuration software for the camera that allows you to adjust the color? I would check that out first, you could also try and using the system restore function. Go back to the day you bought the system and see if that resolves the issue. If that doesn't work it has to be hardware related.
1. check if the camera driver is installed properly, you can see it in the device manager.
2. use amcap to check if your cam is working

3. update skype
