My vizio sound bar keep muting after a few min , im not sure what causing it to that

It plays for a few min and than switches to mute or the light all turn white and the ones in the middle flashes

No, there is no problem. The Vizio VHT 215 is designed to do this and you can't turn it off. I checked with Vizio support on this. It will mute after either 15 or 30 minutes (can't remember which). Also, if you are using HDMI out to your TV, and you mute it manually, it will turn off and your video will disappear after the timeout. The automatic off function is apparently based on sound rather than sound or video.

Why do i hear no sound from the tv
Most often caused by a mute circuit or the mute button pressed. Others are a wrong sound setting. Such as being set for Dolby Digital sound.

Youtube's automatic muting.
I've heard this is a Youtube issue. If my download speed was fast enough to set the volume a week ago it should be fast enough today. I think everyone who recently upgraded software is having this same issue. YT needs to get on top of it because it is obnoxious.

Crate csx24 sound board- the mute lights will not light. Sound works but lights will not light.
USUALLY the Mute LED's for the switches ar operated by separate contacts on the mute switch an a resistor current limit for the LED. I could NOT find the schematic for this board, HOWEVER some Soundcraft brand mixers do NOT have illuminated Mute switches... Not sure about your particular unit.

Tthe sound wont play on my new vizio 3d tv
  1. Check your connection from the TV Audio output to the Bose Input, and make sure the TV is not muted.
  2. In the TV's Sound/Audio menu, configure the TV to output the sound to External Speakers, not the internal speakers.
  3. Make sure the Bose system is powered on, and not muted.

Hi, sure there is a way to mute your laptop, either by turning the volume slider on the task bar all the way down, or look for the switch for the audio control on the keyboard, there should be one for mute... otherwise if you would like to hear the sound while no one else can hear it the best thig you can use is headphones.... good luck

The OSD consists of several menu options: Picture Adjust, Audio Adjust, TV Tuner Setup, Parental Controls,PIP Set Up, or Special Features. try using the audio controls to make sure nothing is muted. go to your control panel and double click on "sounds and audio devices". make sure nothing is muted, and that your speakers are pluged into the green line-in jack
