hi Debbie. The cache on your Samsung tablet is designed to make things run smoothly. But over time, it can become bloated and cause slowdown. Clear out the cache of individual apps in the App Menu or click Settings > Storage > Cached data to clean all app caches with one tap.

Look for snail trails around your plants. The trail looks like a glossy wet slimy line. Then take the hand trowel and dig a shallow hole to the depth and size of the non-breakable shallow bowl or pie tin in the area you see snail trails.
Pat the earth down around the hole so that It won't crumble into the bowl or tin of beer.
Set a non-breakable shallow bowl or pie tin in the hole.
Fill the bowl or pie tin with any kind of beer. Fill it slightly below the top so the snails will have to crawl in to get to it. Cheap beer works just fine. Once the snails are in the beer they are trapped.
Clear out dead snails and keep putting beer in the bowl every two or three days as it evaporates. You can put more than one bowl of beer out in other areas that are tempting to snails.
Basically, the snails love the beer, they fall in and drown.
Use the App "Activity Monitor" to see what process is driving hard.
if not already open: open the activity monitor window. Click the CPU% tab and show highest percentages at the top (should be an upside down triangle) may have to click the CPU% twice to do this. now the Activity monitor is showing you what processes are eating up your computers power. Google the process/es . It may be indexing the drive, which can take a long time. there are other processes too, that you should just let it do. once they are done, then things should be good. Such is the case for me when I upgraded to Mavericks.
it could be different things
have you checked to make sure the plug is correctly in the machine
one time I was sewing on my necchi electronic machine & it for some reason was going slow like you mentioned & so I started checking different thing & found the cord to the foot pedal was laying in side the foot pedal & it couldn't go any faster untill I moved the cord out of the way
it could also be the motor
& also the power cord & foot pedal
it's possible it needs to be serviced since it's been sitting up so long & since it's sewing at a snails pace
There could be a lot of reasons. It may be old, it may have a lot of spyware on it or a virus, it may be fragmented, it may have very little space on the HDD, etc.
To get it to run a little faster download, install and run CCleaner and Malwarebytes. Those two programs should help fix a lot of problems. If it's still running slow download and install a free defragger and run that.
I think cpu changing is not wise in budgetry if really you need to make your device faster .
if really you want to make it faster just change the motherboard and cpu to gether but still its not resionable.
better to try and increese the ram and the use faster hard drive .
and run only the programs only required by disabling application on startup.
