Video clips I have just purchased a vivitar vivicam x30 digital camera & it plays video clips through the television with sound & picture, however no matter what i try when i put the memory card into the card reader on the computer it only plays the sound, the only video is the start scene the rest of the video does not pplay at all only the sound. appreciate any help. regards ****.

It sounds like you need to update your codec. Try playing the file with VLC player. That requires no codecs to use. If it will not play within that program, then it probably shouldn't be played lol.

There is no sound recording to my videos
Unfortunately the ViviCam does not record any audio to go with its videos. You can add a soundtrack using video-editing software on a computer, but you cannot record one on the camera.

PICTURE BUT NO SOUND!
Your Camera records sound but does not play it back on the device. Go to www.vivitar.com and download the driver for your camera. Install it on your pc and you should have sound when playing video in windows media.
