Download video from my Panasonic NV-GS50 camcorder to MAC. Computer doesn't recognise the camera and Panasonic website doesn't have any drivers for MAC computers. Please help.

You will need a firewire card in your PC and firewire cable to connect your camera to the PC. you will also need a software like Windows movie maker which can help you to transfer videos from your camera to the PC.

I didn't see an NV-GS50 but I did find a PV-GS50. All Panasonic DV Camcorder in the US start with PV in model number.

Visit www.panasonic.com and you will find the drivers there. Also you will need a program like Windows Movie Maker to download the video clips. I think the GS50 has a DV port , use that instead of USB. Regards PSP

Panasonic global website is not so useful about solving this problem. You may go to

and select model of your camcorder.

go to the panasonic website and download the new drivers for vista,make sure you are set as the admin after hooking it up and allow it to run everytimme you plug it in
