Plugs in Malaysia are type G and match those from Great Britain: The ground slot pointing vertical, and both 230Volt power slots horizontal.
Copy following link for wiring illustration
http://waterheatertimer.org/How-to-wire-240-volt-outlets.html#type-G

Plugs in US are 120Volt. Plugs elsewhere in world are 230-240Volt

Be advised:
US produces 60 Hz electricity so generator rotates 60 times per second.
Malaysia has 50 Hz, same as Britian.
Unless your electrical device is rated for both 50/60 cycles, then a device from US market will not work in Malaysia.
Look at rating label on each device for cycles.

ClassicFlame 26" 3D SpectraFire Plus Infrared Insert. I bought a SpectraFire fireplace, do I need a 220 outlet for it?

question edited for clarity.
Question moved from Computers.

It is only 1,500 watts so it uses a standard 110 volts outlet in the USA and Canada.

Model numbers are important in these questions. If you are in the UK or South Africa, it will be 220 volts and reflected in a different model number for those markets.

The E3 error is a Overheat situation blocked vents, fan not spinning, not enough clearance.

I have unplugged tv and now tv won't come on after plugging it back on. It is a Panasonic Vera

Hello, Carolyn -

If you have not already done so, I suggest you check if there is power coming to the electrical outlet into which you have plugged your TV. You can also plug your TV into a different electrical outlet to help determine if the problem is the TV itself or the electrical outlet.

Plug a different electrical device into the outlet. Does it power on?

Check to make sure the fuse or circuit breaker for the electrical outlet into which you usually plug your TV into has not blown / flipped. Note: You may need the assistance of another person while you check the electrical fuse box or circuit breaker.

Best wishes.

I can't find an electrical outlet that the plug will fit into

Probably because it requires a different electrical current. Is your machine made to run on 220 volts? If so, it will not work on regular 110 volts (standard household current). You'll need to have a special line and outlet to power 220. The outlets are different because you really don't want to be plugging a 110v appliance into a 220v outlet, or vice versa.

Lisa, apparently there was an electrical overload in the receiver box. I assume this electric stove is new and still under warranty. In which case, armed with your Proof of Purchase, you need to contact Dimplex USA or the retailer you purchased it from.

Hello, Mkpatankar -

I am answering from the USA.

You need to find an online supplier or a store which sells electrical supplies and purchase a power adapter, like the kind of adapters international travelers use.

This is a link to one on Amazon India:
https://www.amazon.in/Norwood-Mobilio-Travel-Universal-Indicator/dp/B00NUUHUBE/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1515789379&sr=8-3&keywords=power+adaptor

It is the kind of adapter that will take a USA style electric plug, with polarized prongs, and which then plugs into an Indian electrical outlet.

Another option is to have the USA polarized plug removed and one to fit an Indian electrical outlet attached to the power cord. If you do not know how to do that, you can probably find an electrician with a business in your area who can do the plug replacement work for a fee.

My Pioneer Elite PRO-111FD just shut off on it's own, and now won't turn back on. No green or red indicator light... nothing. Any suggestions?

Check your power source (electrical outlet) and the power cable. If electrical outlet is ok, try using a different power cable (the cable that you plug on to the electrical outlet going to your TV set). If everything is ok but still no indicator light, call your technician there might be a problem with the TV power supply.

Dead unit

I'm sorry to hear about your DISH Network DVR-625 receiver. If you don't mind me asking & to allow me to further assist you, what exactly do you mean by "dead unit"," For example, was it working and has suddenly stopped working? Does it power on, can you see any lights on the front of your receiver? Is it plugged directly into a electrical outlet on the wall, or is it plugged into a power strip/surge protector? If plugged into a power strip/surge protector, please attempt to bypass by plugging the receiver directly into an electrical outlet- if plugged into an electrical outlet please try a different outlet. I hope these few tips may help but if not and you need further assistance please feel free to contact me @ [email protected] :)
