You have a good question posted at the wrong site. FixYa.com is not a reseller of manufacturer. Check the advertisements around the page where this answer appears.
You have not specified the make/model. But if you set is having the transformer as the case may be, and you have plugged into the 220volt with the 120 volt settting, then the transformer would have burned off. If so identify the secondary voltage of the DC cicuit and use a 220volt transformer to replace. If you are not able to identify multiple tappings then you must get the primary of the burned tranformer wound for 220volts. If at all this is aSMPS unit then you will need to replace the full unit as the ratings inthe power will be different.Since you have not specified details of voltage and ratings,I am not able to advice more. Hope you decide. Good day
Please check Input Voltage 110 ~ 240 volts AC at rear or bottm side of unit. If same is written there, its Auto Voltage Operatable and can be use on 220Volts.
I have a temporary solution that is working: Use WD-40 around the switch. Spray with the straw that comes with the WD-40. Let stand for a couple days, then turn the whole unit upside down and spray again, and let it stand that way for a couple days. If we could get inside, it could be more of a sure thing, but I had given up on mine and when I accidently hit the switch after siting for the last few days, , it came on!

Now for Sears to try to locate the tool that will open the case.
