I downloaded firmware in an effort to solve the "stabilization not available" problem I am having. I copied the firmware onto the root drive of the camera, but when I hold down the menu button and turn the camera on, I still get the software version display (Version 1.0) instead of the update option (yes/no) that I I am supposed to get so that I can update the camera. I have disengaged the USB cord, as directed. Please assist!

Remove the Software
Restert the Computer
Plug camera in and turn on set it to the upload mode.
Windows will then fid it via the Camera/Scanner Wizard.
If there is still a problem
A cheap card reader will do the trick

I am on vacation and forgot my cd to be able to download pictures from the camera; FE- 280, to my pc notebook, that's a toshiba satellite with home vista. Is there a way I can download these pictures to my notebook without the software that I forgot to bring with me. It's not loaded on my notebook. Thanks. [email protected]

try pluggin it in and go to control panel and search and add hard were and see if there is any files missing or invallid
even try uninstall and reinstall

It seems that the latest Camera Firmware upgrade available for the T100 is Ver1.2. The previous version was Ver 1.1.
You can download the newest firmware to your camera through the Internet.

How to install
