When I turn on the camera (Sony Cyber shot W530) white lines appear in the screen ... vertical and horizontal... but about 1/4 of the screen is still fine. I am not sure how this damage occurred as when I put it away in its case it was fine... Photo's can still be taken and they appear fine when transferred on to a lap top.. I have tried taking the battery out and the memory stick .. but this has no effect.. Please can you make suggestions on how to fix,,, Thanks Jenn

well change the mode from video to still photo and see wat happens....anyways why dont u access the memory card wid pc and format it...... wil remove the virus if any....
And pink lines, well doesnt sound good for ur digi-cam.... maybe the LCD screen is no longer functioning properly....:(

I am having the exact same problem and I have only had my camera for 2 weeks. We took it on vacation and I really want my pictures. Did you find a solution? Was it the memory card or ther camera?
