Had to delete windows 98, thus loosing yahoo messenger. It want to reinstall it but it won't let me do it. Wan't to use my current user name and password, but it won't install. No point in giving my email address below because it won't install either. [email protected]
Step1 Close all other applications running on your computer, except your Internet browser. Step2 Go to the Yahoo website and click on the "Messenger" button on the right side of the page. Click on the button that says “Download Now.” This will take you to the download page. Step3 Read the instructions on the page, and then click the “Get Started” button. A download page will appear which may give you a choice of saving or running the program. You can save it to your Desktop and install it yourself or click run and let it automatically install and open the installation dialog box. Step4 Select the things you want to install. Yahoo! Messenger with Voice downloads Yahoo! Toolbar with Anti-Spy and Pop-Up Blocker and makes Yahoo your default search engine for Internet Explorer. If you use a web browser other than Internet Explorer, you may have to reset your preferences after you download Messenger. Step5 Click “Next” and read the installation dialog box when it pops up. Check the box when asked if you accept the License Agreement and Terms. It won’t install if you don’t check this box. Step6 Allow the program to install. At the end of installation, you’ll have the opportunity to personalize your Yahoo! Messenger with Voice through the Preferences section.
