Turtle beach x1 is disconnected at the splitter cables

About 2 or 3 months in, i had my turlte beaches hooked up and ready. no faults, or hollow sounds apart from my friends mike. until recently, i accidently tripped over the cords on the tv and literally disconnected the splitter cables, so i have splittler cables in the tv and a cord with wires out of it. any suggestions where i can get it fixed or get a new set?

SOURCE: Dog chewed through Turtle Beach X1 wire any advice on fixing??

Your best long term fix will be to solder the wires together then tape them individually and finally tape the whole thing. Second choice will be to use crimp (**** splice) connections and then tape. Last choice will be just twisting stripped wires together and tape everything.

I have the x1 turtle beaches plugged in but i cant hear anything. There just isnt any sound coming out except for a little buzzing.

Try the X1 on your PC or laptop to check if it's working OK. if you can hear fine on the PC, then there's nothing wrong with the headset and you should check the XBOX connections or RCA splitter cable.

My turtle beach x1 mic will not work

Have you tried using your X1 on your PC? Try connecting your X1 to a PC and speak into the X1 mic. Can you hear yourself in the headset? If yes, then the X1 mic and headset are OK but you need a new chat-controller cable. If not, then you should contact Turtle Beach about it --- [email protected].

Everything works in my turtle beach x1 but people cant hear me speaking

Have you tried using your X1 on your PC? Plug the green plug to the green jack, pink plug to pink jack, USB plug to USB port. Speak into the mic and you should hear yourself in the headset. If you can hear yourself, then the problem is the chat-controller cable and you should get that replaced. If not, it may mean your X1 mic is broken and you should contact Turtle Beach about that --- [email protected].

I cant hear the gameplay in the right ear

Have you tried using your X1 with an iPod or MP3 player? Try that, and if you hear sound through both sides of the headset from the MP3 player, then the problem is in the "Stereo Splitter Cable", which can be replaced. But if you only hear sound out of the left ear from the MP3 player, then the headset is probably broken and you should contact Turtle Beach tech support at [email protected].

Turtle Beach Ear Force X1 Headset with very low sound output

Try playing the X1 from an iPod or MP3 player. If it works better on that, then the problem is probably the Stereo Splitter Cable connecting the X1 to your Xbox audio outputs. If the X1 sounds bad from the MP3 player too, then you should tell Turtle Beach tech support about this. [email protected].
