We have a Swistec 19'' H.D.ready...built in Freeview...Widescreen L.C.D. T.V. flatpanel. Which we have just purchased , but the remote was lost . We cannot seem to obtain one anywhere, and wondered if you can help us with finding a Universal remote that will cover Swisstec.

The only brand of universal remote I know of that has a code for Swisstec brand TVs is the Integra - the code is 0880.
The other option is to order a replacement remote for your model TV. http://www.amazon.co.uk carries remotes for a wide variety of Swisstec TVs (note that www.amazon.com does *not* offer these since Swisstec is British).

Had same problem with a 42" Dixel HD ready. Seems like this brand doesn't even exist. With several universal remotes tried all configurations, it didn't work. Finally found the Logitech 525, connected on internet recognized my Dixel remote as a swisstec programmed accordingly and it works! I guess it should work with any Swisstec devices....

Many many gratefull thanks ! As a pensioner I was not looking forward to buying a new T.V. ! We had tried everywhere localy without success.
