BUT now when I turn it on it has a white screen then it turns black and it shuts off the t.v all this happens within 30 sec. of turning on. This is a zenith PLASMA z50pt320-uc HDTV I'm guessing the main control board is bad? there is a little green light that is on that board that flashes 3 times then a pause then 1 flash a pause- dose that have any thing to do with my problem? any answers would be helpful. THANKS jeff"

What is the size of the 4 screws on the back of the lg 32ld350 tv?

Remove the 3 screws from the base, these screws are mostlikely metric M4/.70 pitch 3/4 inch long. these are the screws are the matching screens for the wall mount. You will have to buy 1 more. Also 1/8 mini fender washers maybe required to hold the bracket to the back of the TV due to the slots.
Hope this helps.

Just a question as to how the base attaches to the tv?Don't have the unit, at a friends house and wants to know how to remove, looks like it attaches at the bottom, is this correct?

Most tvs have four to six screws that go in the back just above were the mount goes in at the bottom of the unit. look for a 8 to 10 inch raised area or 3 screws in a row, 2 rows. Face the tv face down on the bed with the base hanging over the edge. Some tv's like L.G.base just push into the bottom with 2 or 4 screws holding it in place. The screws will look much heavyer then the ones going around the set. maybe round top not flat topped

The screws broke off when trying to remove the tv stand from my LG 42lg30. Is there any other way to remove the base stand? thanks

If you broke one of the base stand screw you will need to do as follow:

Remove the remaining screws of the stand and try to remove the stand, if you cant you will need to remove the back cover of the TV and then you will be able to remove the stand, remove the broken screw and put it all back.

It is pretty easy but if you feel you cant do it let me know and I can give you a detailed step by step guide.

Removing the base of flat panel tv

You don't have to mess around with the screws on the bottom of the base.

There are 4 screws on the back of the Toshiba that are in line with the wall mounting screw holes.

Remove the 4 screws and the base falls off.

Olevia 227V lcd

All you need to do is remove the two long screws on the back of the tv panel just above the stand, then the two short back panel screws AND the three short screws just above the two panel screws and the stand will come right off. DO NOT remove any of the other screws in the perimeter of the back panel. There is no need.
After much trial and error this is the correct and EASY procedure for this apparently troublesome task. Good Luck !!

How to Remove the Base

I have an Olevia 42" TV. I was able to remove the base by removing 16 screws on the back side. They were arranged vertically in 4 sets of 4. The screws go through the back panel, through the base and attach (without nuts) directly into the inside of the TV. After removing the 16 screws the stand simply slides out.
I tried removing two screws underneath the base area. They were small screws and were a pain to remove. I thought I would try that first instead of removing 16 screws but that did nothing.
Good luck!
