Will not power up. Tested from plug to power
The power supply board could very well be defective. I would also check the Zsus board and the Xsus boards. If either of these boards fail it could also cause the power supply board to fail.
You can unplug the connectors to the zsus board at the power supply and try to turn the set on. If it does turn on, the power supply board is ok. If not, the power supply is bad. If the power supply board is ok, undo the plug connectors that power the Xsus board and hook up the plug connectors to the Zsus board. Turn the set an and see if it stays on or shuts down. Part numbers should be on the boards. Zenith is really LG Corp. Their customer support number is 1800-243-0000.
Hope this helps,

Sounds like main system control memory IC fault. Anyway, try a reset to this set first. If it do not help you, contact any service technician to replace this IC.
To make it a hard reset, just unplug the TV from AC mains wall socket, and re-plug it back after 15 minutes or so. This procedure will make it a hard reset. If you want to make it a system reset [Factory Reset]; you have to enter its service mode option, and select the factory reset option. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Had similar problem; I have determined that it was the capacitors in the powerboard! I replaced the capacitors at a higher voltage, and the tv is working again (for now) :) To anyone else having issues, I highly recommend looking at the powerboard before spending any money either fixing or replacing the tv. Take the back off the TV and look at the powerboard, if any of the capacitors are blown they will be bowed out in the back (should be flat) Mine had 7 blown capacitors, all were 3300uf 10v capacitors. (Funny enough it was every single 3300 10V capacitor on the powerboard that blew out...) The fix cost me a total of $21!! And $15 of that was for both soldering and de-soldering irons. Through e-bay I got the 3300uf 16v capacitors for $6.50 (including shipping) I am hoping that the higher voltage will thwart this issue in the future, however only time will tell. If they blow again, I'm going to try 25v capacitors. wish me luck!
