LG frontloader WD-1238c door locked

The washing machine is fully functional and all buttons work, however I cannot get the door unlocked! When I turn the washing machine on it isn't showing the red lock icon. I have tried everything, re-washing, unplugging from the power point, child lock. I can't even get my washing out!?

sometimes you just have to force the door but first try hitting the machine near the door lock sometimes this helps the door interlock may be stuck in the closed position

SOURCE: LG "WM12336FD" washing machine is displaying ,CL,

I cannot find that model number in any of my LG data.

There is a button on the control panel that will say Child Lock. That button will have to pushed and held down until you hear the chime.

Hi my LG 7.5 kg (10165fu)front loader washer has just stopped functioning. It shows on screen a big "CL".What do i do? Pls help. Griffiths

CL means that your washing machine's CHILD LOCK is ON. You can find two buttons Temp and Options in the panel. Turn ON the machine, press these two buttons together for 3 seconds and thats it. It might have a little kids face above a lock key, inbetween the wash and rinse buttons, hold these for 3/5 seconds and it should work

Lg tromm manual

Problem is too much soap. Wrong soap. Press and hold: SPIN SPEED & SOIL LEVEL buttons--then press POWER button.
Wait for door to lock.

Press the START button (6) times--this will fill the tub with hot water to the maximum setting when it stops filling.

Press the START button two more times--this will enable the tub to tumble.
After 3 hours--turn "off" the washer.
Turn the washer back "on".
Select the shortest wash cycle (usually "quick wash") and press "START". This will rinse out the tub.

I have a LG WD 1238C Front Loader Washing Machine and the display has a CL on it.

Remove power for some time , allow the power to drain off the memory and see if the display is clear. If not hold the start button and switch on power. Check the inlet and drain filter , free water flow, if not remove and clean.

LG Frontloader WD 1023c door not opening

If it won't unlock when powered down for a couple of minutes you will have to unplug the machine and then remove the top lid. you will then be able to access the rear of the door lock and pull the locking switch back to allow the door to be opened.

Illamy lg wd-1238c washing mashine is not working and is displaying a cl fault code.

CL Means Child Lock.

You may have put it on by accident.

Look for a child's face with to lines pointing to 2 buttons on your Facial Panel.

Press these to buttons for 3 to 5 seconds and the Child Lock will deactivate.

Good Luck :-) - J.Q

Hi there My frontloader washing machine display

LG washing machines indicating error code CL may have the child lock activated. Try holding down the temperature and eco/rapid options together to turn off child lock.

We bought our LG WD-1238C Front Washer a couple of years ago. I was sure that it use to beep with every turn of the dial but now it doesn't. We have just had the door replaced and the guy said he also...

Don't know whether it should beep or not -- is this causing the machine not to function normally. Are the clothes dirty and wet when the cycle is over? If not, I would say it's not important.

Front Loader LG Inverter 7.5kg WD-1238C

CL is about the Child Lock which is done by pressing both the buttons together. To release the same do press both the buttons under the display simultaniously.
