I am having lg trom wd 85260 frontloading washing machine. For the last few days it has started taking long time to compete the wash cycle like on cotton mode it started taking more than 6 hours. now it literally hangs on 22 or 23 minutes in cotton cycle wash. In 30 minutes cycle it hangs on 3 or 4 minutes. What is the problem.
Problem is too much soap. Wrong soap. Press and hold: SPIN SPEED & SOIL LEVEL buttons--then press POWER button.
Wait for door to lock.
Press the START button (6) times--this will fill the tub with hot water to the maximum setting when it stops filling.
Press the START button two more times--this will enable the tub to tumble.
After 3 hours--turn "off" the washer.
Turn the washer back "on".
Select the shortest wash cycle (usually "quick wash") and press "START". This will rinse out the tub.

Possible that the drain valve is clogged if the inlet line is working and so you need to remove the drain and back flush.Also check after the power plug is removed for few hours and see if the fault resets to start the machine only to show the error a few minutes later. if so clean the drain lines, check the inlet flow and the door switch.
IE on the screen of an LG washing machine can mean a lot of things.
1.It can mean that the washing machine can't fill up with enough water in 8 minutes time. 2.It can also mean that the water hose screens are clogged up with dirt and dust. 3.It can mean that you hoses are reversed. Your cold water hose might be connected to the hot water hose. 4.The water valves might not be screwed in completely.
