Electric mower fizzled out and stopped, won't start now

My 18 inch black and decker electric lawnmower'smotor slowed down and stopped.....won't restart

you could check the brush connection on the motor or your switch mat not be making contact

Most likely the motor 'brushes' need to be replaced now.

These wear over time and most likely should be replaced by a professional.

Nope. If the grass is too high, knock it down to size with a weedeater first. These electric mowers cannot handle the tall, high stuff. If you do, you will surely burn it up.

You have either bent the blade and its to high to cut or you need to sharpen the blade with a grinder.

open up the top cover of the mower & inspect the armature commutator & brushed if not broken.also checked for loose connection on the rectifier,extension terminal on the switch handle then the switch the last to checked ig any burnt on the terninals too. this are common probel may occur if mower not running.
