Consider NOT connecting your camera to your computer.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program such as Picasa.

Why my coby netbook won't connect wireless after i press fn+f1?

Could be a number of reasons? Do you see your wireless network? What is the signal strength? When is the last time you have power cycled your router? (Removed the black power cable from the back, waited 5 seconds and plugged back in). Please give that a try and make sure your wireless is enable. The fn + f1 key will either enable or disable it, there should be a light somewhere on the laptop that is on indicating the wireless is on. Baud rate setting

There has been much written on the SYNET 07526. After playing with it for two months I have a few observations.
1. It is not a toy...It DOES WORK, but it is also temperamental! It's NOT an IPOD or other tablet and it is somewhat S-L-O-W. But it DOES WORK despite the impatience of some comments on this site or YouTube. And the price was very right - under $100!
2. Best solution is to download the Digital Gadgets OS Image from their website. Update exactly as directed onto a 1-2 GB SD Card in your MAIN computer (actually I bought a card reader/writer to do this - Do Not load the update to a USB drive - the netbook won't recognize it using that port. Extract the "Script" program from the download and send it to the SD Card. Turn off the computer, remove the SD card update. Place the SD card into the netbook while it is off and when you turn the netbook on the program will load automatically. DO NOT TOUCH ANYTHING UNTIL THE ENTIRE "SCRIPT" FILE IS INSTALLED ON THE NETBOOK.
Use the RT 28701 Connection network. It should be defaulted already.
You may also notice "Google" is now the default I.S.P. Try first entering a "subject" into Google Search first( e.g. "cats" or "dogs" - rather than entering an actual website. Some sites with a lot of graphics will be slow or won't load and you'll get a "can't open page" message)3. If you check you will also see the dial up BAUD RATE defaults to 19,200 baud. I kept this setting and it was fine. This is the dial speed, if you go through modems that are encrypted and need authentication. RT 28701 uses wi-fi directly and should connect to local "host" wi-fi sites.
4. Look for "Disabled" encryption and "Open" authentication when configuring the netbook or it may not connect to the wi-fi host without a password.
5. There is a difference between "associating with..." and "connected to..." If you're not "conected" you're just browsing available access points in the area that your wi-fi receiver is scanning. Click on your "preferred" site and hit "connect" when you've got a good signal. If you get bumped off, it's because your netbook configuration is not compatible with the wi-fi host.
6. Try different locations such as near hotels, McD's, Starbucks, etc. where the wi-fi is open to guests and try your netbook there. If you get on the web via Google your netbook is fine.
