Hello I am here because I bought a insignia 50" plasma about 5 months ago and have no warranty on it.I bought it as is from best buy and now it doesn't work correctly.The screen appears to have two red vertical lines about 1 1/2" going all the way down the left hand side of the screen.The TV image behind the red lines is fine.You can see the whole picture no problem. I assume maybe the tv can be reset somehow.If any one can help me please let me know.Is there anyway to have the manufacturer fix this?Well,I'll be waiting for some responses.Hopefully someone out there can help.
I would take it back. I know from purchasing an Insignia LCD from them a while back, the TV just died after about 4 or 5 months. They ended up offering me another TV or with store credit. I took the store credit and chose another TV. I also did not have a warranty. I was told since it was Insignia (which is a Best Buy house brand) that replacing it was not a problem. Good luck.
