I am in need of a dimage software cd for a dimage 5digital camera, the current one is not opening, for instalation, I am unable to down load pictures Version 1.11windows. Compact disc, thank you for any help. Alvin

When you bought the camera you must have got a cord or a wire which connect the camera to the computer. And also a software CD to install the cameras software on your computer. You need to first install the software on to your computer and then connect the camera to your computer with the cord or the cable. once you have done that you will have an option available to transfer the photos on to your computer. I suggest you to go through the manual which is available with the camera or on the CD which has a guide that helps you to do the same.

Open them up on your computer.
If the files names have been altered they are no longer readable by the camera.
You can either down load them or pick up a flash reader to to see them.

I bought a card reader and use it instead of directly connecting to computer with camera. Saves battery life and cost under $30 canadian. Simple file transfer this way. At least your camera is still working! Mine is dead and Sony says no parts available.

The current software is 1.0.3. It does work with this scanner and XP.

You should install the drivers after removing the existing driver and software. Do not hook up the scanner until the drivers have been installed.

It might not show up under the Cameras and Scanners section in Control Panel but it will still work.

When you open Elements make sure your scanner is on with the door closed. Go down to where you import and look for the scanner to be listed. It will take a minute or two to go through its calibration routine and then you should be able to scan with it.

Their camera will be upgraded, and they will be charged $49.95 (plus tax and shipping). They will receive back their upgraded camera, and a DiMAGE Viewer Ver 1.2 Upgrade CD-Rom*. (They will not receive the firmware upgrade on CD-Rom or the new DiMAGE Viewer) There is a 2-3 week turn around time once payment has been authorized. * images captured with an upgraded camera cannot be opened using previous versions of the DiMAGE Image Viewer Utility 1.11 or earlier. A DiMAGE Viewer Ver 1.2 upgrade CD-rom has been bundled with the DiMAGE 7 Optional Enhancement UPGRADE Firmware.
