This only happens when it rains. More water seems to come in when the car is parked than when it is being driven. I have removed the carpet and padding. The water appears to be entering from up under the dash (due to water trails) on the left front corner and in front of the brake pedal. I have pulled the drain plugs in the floor so there is no build up of water anymore. I have seen about one inch of water on the driver's floor board after a storm.
Have you had the windshield replaced lately??.. if so, they did not seal it well. Check the windshield wiper shaft for wear and a seal..
sometimes these are hard to diagnose. ..sorry..
"You kinda have to be there when it rains.."
Could be a leaking hear core or hose that goes into the core.

If it's only water, then you might have clogged drains that run along the side of the cowl area. You may want to remove the wiper blades, arms and the plastic cover. Take a visual look at the inner corners of the frame and you may find dirt which is not allowing water to run out. Sometimes, it's also a good idea to remove the inner wheel well covers that will give you access to other end of the drains slots.

Hi, the reason the pedal goes to the floor is because the brake line going back to the rear axle blew, first you will need to find where the hole is and cut out the bad section, usually you can find a clean spot further down that you can cut out the bad spot. you will need to go to the parts store and get a new piece of brake line and a tubing cutter and a double flare kit. usually you can rent one of these to save money.
