Reverse printing I have an HP Business Inkjet 1200 printer. It works great. I use it only for desktop publishing. When I print out a 10 page chapter of my book it prints the pages out in a - backward - order 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1. Question: Can I get this printer to print out the pages in a - forward - order 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 ????? How can I do this? I have checked the printer's options and don't see a check box for REVERSE ORDER I went to "control panel/printers and faxes". I right clicked on "printer" and selected "printing preferences". I looked through all the tabs but I didn't see REVERSE ORDER in there.

    Is there another way to REVERSE PRINT?

Open your printers/faxes folder, right click the printer you want to change, select properties. In that window, click on printing preferences. Click on the next to last icon (should be an A with a red arrow going to an upside down A). On that screen is an option to reverse print. Click on it.

Some of print heads may be failed.First clean very well the contacts on the print heads and printer using piece of cotton and some alcohol.If not help look which color don't print and replace that print head.

HP business inkject 1200 won't print footers
Make sure you have the correct page size in the software.

I don't think this printer will allow you to print in the last 12mm of the page as it needs this to hold the paper while printing.

HP Business Inkjet 1200 printer always prints the Alignment Page
Normal 0 Could have a corrupt driver.
Disconnect the printer or at least be sure it is turned off. I'd do both and when the CD software program asks you to connect the printer to the USB port, do so and it should again work properly.

HP Business Inkjet 1200 --all lights ablaze, printer won't reset BEWARE 1-800-532-4187 IS SPAM
  • To reset the network configuration follow the instructions below:
    1. Press the Configuration Page button once.
    2. Press the Resume button three times.
    3. Wait for about 20 seconds and then press the Power button to turn off the printer.
    4. Disconnect the power cord from the printer.
    5. Wait for about 20 seconds and then reconnect the power cord.
    6. Press the Power button to turn on the printer.
    • Not sure if this will resolve other issues, but it's the only reset I know of.

    If the printer is new, then maybe the printer catridge nozzle seals have not been removed and so the catridges are not being detected.

    If it has been working before and then the problem starts, look at which light is blinking  because the paper and catridge lights are different. So check wich light is on and get to me for further instructions.
