This phone worked beautifully for 13 months. And I have taken really good care of it, no drops, no rain, nothing suspicious. Two nights ago it was working fine, fully charged. The next morning it was black, dead, no response. The Verizon store says the battery still works so the phone must be dead, pay them $50 for a refurbished model. Any alternative to that? The phone should, in theory, have a lot of life remaining.

hey hi.... in case if you have forgetten your old security code,the only solution is to flash ur phone software from the nearest samsung serice centre,it also updates your mobile software which increases the mobile speed.... thank you.....take care..................
for your added information, it is by chance that the 2 gb sd card can be recognize by your phone. normally, krzr 1 doesn't support 2 gb. you may think that others do have. it all depends on the firmware they have and sometimes on the brand of the sd card like micromax it is really by chance that it will be recognize. most of the time, it can be hardly recognize.
take micro sd out of krzr..put the micro sd in the adapter (fits in slots on pc / laptops) go to.my computer, find drive, right click,format..take out re-insert to krzr

first try cleaning the port hole on the phone with a very lighty damped cloth if that dosent work then id say that the card u bought is unfourtually defective and u will have to buy another card. sorry for the bad news. hope this info helps
