I have a motorola krzr k1m and bought a 2gb memory card so i could download music and listen to it on my phone instead of having a separate ipod, but the phone won't even recognize the memory card. i have formatted the card in every manner possible and am not lost...please help????
For your added information, it is by chance that the 2 gb sd card can be recognize by your phone. normally, krzr 1 doesn't support 2 gb. you may think that others do have. it all depends on the firmware they have and sometimes on the brand of the sd card like micromax it is really by chance that it will be recognize. most of the time, it can be hardly recognize.

turn cell over face down...press the button at top (with your right thumb) of cell ,slide the back cover off with your left thumb...the battery is there take battery out slide the sim card in the slot the now...place battery back in (the gray metal clip over the sim card is a slot for a sdmirco card (more storage you might wanna invest in ($4 -$10)
you may have to buy a memory card reader, plug it into your computer and format the memory card before it will work in your phone, or your phone may require a different format of the same card, for instance some camera's take SD cards, and some take the HD/SD card, and they are not interchangeable, the SD will not work in the HD/SD device and vice versa..........hope this helps........
are you trying to download music via cell phone carrier or pc????? by pc (it much easier and quicker) connect usb cable to krzr.....go to my computer...u should see the drive....copy files from pc to the cell phone.......and now you just listen to them or make a ringtone....
The program could have been corrupt due to an immense amount of scripts that were written when each song played. What you might need to do is do a soft reset on your phone. Take the card out of the phone and take the battery out for about a minute. Place it back in and try to start the player. If the player doesnt start then put the memory card in then try to start it.
The last resort would be to erase everything on the phone so that everything goes back to manufacturers settings, the player would work then but you would need to save your phone numbers, and pictures, and videos, before doing that because everything will be erased.
I bought the same headset and also have a K1m, I did research and found out that the k1m does not have a2dp technology so it will not play music on any bluetooth stereo headset, in order to listen to music through a headset you will have to get the handsfree wired stereo headset, bummer
