I am using windows 7. I just bought this camera and the guy I bought it from said it was compatible with windows 7. I downloaded the driver for it from a disc. The camera didn't work. So I went online, found the most updated driver from there. Still didn't work. I have no idea what to do mostly because I am not very wise with computers. Again my product is a Zonet ZVC7500 webcam. Right click the install program for ACT, choose properties then compatibility mode tab and unselect "Run this program in XP compatibility mode", click OK. If that doesn't work, select that box and choose Windows 7 as the compatibility mode.
Unfortunately, this digital camera was designed for Mac OS9 & OSX, Windows 2000, 98, ME, Vista 32bit & 64bit, and XP 32bit and 64bit only. It is not compatible with Windows 7. Softwares and Drivers are limited to the manufacturer's release. Should you need to transfer the images and videos from your camera, you will need to purchase a USB card reader compatible with the memory stick of your camera. Plug in the card reader to your computer and you should be able to browse and transfer data into your computer.

for other versions of operating system. I am also using windows 7 like
you so don't you worry, You can still use your old installer/driver from
other versions of operating systems. Just remember that before
installing any program in a windows 7 Operating System Computer, Use
"troubleshoot compatibility". Right Click the Icon of your program
installer/application first, then choose "troubleshoot compatibility".
This will allow you to choose on what type operating system your program
will run. Just reply back if it still doesn't work.:D rate and vote
