TV Scratch Is there anyway to fix these, on any type of television???

If it do not receive any signal, the tuner to this TV should be suspected. Anyway, if you wish to make it to factory reset, you have to enter its service mode option, and should select the Factory Reset option, to go further.

Use vaseleine dipped soft cloth to swipe over the scratch point. There is a compund to do this, which can be bought from electronic spare part selling shops.

You have not mentioned which part of the screen is the scratch?? Anyway please note that you can not apply a chemical on the scratch. Just leave it and clean it with a slightly damp cloth as long as it does not affect the viewing of the picture on the screen.

Sorry - there is NO fix for it! When an LCD/Plasma screen gets bashed or scratched it's damaged forever. A new screen will cost more than a new TV.

only way i know to fix this white line is to replace the panel.

You can probable conceal the scratches but a complete repair is not possible,I've seen people who repair cracks in windshields using a special compound that dries clear but even that only conceals the scratches.I hope the scratches are not too deep and you can hardly see them when the set is on.
