My "Crypto Budget IV" USB Webcam is not getting recognized by my XP computer. It was working properly until it just suddenly stopped working. Tried the cam on my Win7 computer and it is working just fine. I also tried reinstalling the webcam drivers (from the cd provided), and before finishing the installation an error pops up saying "No usb camera detected". I suspect there must be something wrong with the XP and now it can't recognize the camera when I connect it, and gives me a notification in the taskbar "USB Device not recognized" I hope somebody can help me with this one. Thanks in front.

Try looking in device manager. If its there with a yellow -exclamation mark there you won't be able to install at all. Just delete (uninstall THAT) then try to plug it in a port.
