I tried re-setting it and it worked for 3 hours then did it again. What do I do?

Try getting some elctronic contact cleaner and then spray it into the controls and work it in for a few minutes on each control. Do this with the amplifier off, and after you have done this you can cheeck to see if it helps. If it does not help, you may have some broken solder connections on the controls where they connect to the board. That is something that would need to be checked by a service center and if that is the only problem it can be repaired for a very reasonable price, depending on the rates of the service center. If it is anything more than that, you may want to consider just replacing the amplifier, but that is something to determain after you find out exactly what the problem is.
There is just no way to know exactly what the problem is without being able to test the amp myself, but the advice given would at least be something you can do yourself and possibly fix your problem with spending too much money.
let me know if I can help you any more, I have been repairing car and home audio equipment for almost 18 years and have seen just about everything at one time or another.
Good luck,
Dave

comp VR 15s are rated @ 500W RMS 1000Peak.
The lanzar vibe amplifier is 2 x 600W RMS at 4 OHMS 2 x 1200W MAX at 4 OHMS 1 x 2400W MAX at 4 OHMS Bridged 2 x 1000W at 2 OHMS RMS.
Your subs are single 4 ohm subs.
If your subs are wired stereo, they both are seeing 600W. (more than the rated RMS)
Chances are, you have them wired parallel to a 2 ohm mono load - of which that amplifier is not rated. In theory, it will produce about 2000W @ 2 ohm mono for a short period of time.
Your amplifier is too powerful for your subs. Turn down the gain setting to 3/4 or purchase better subs. Also be sur the subs are inthe proper enclosure. It sounds as if they are excurting past their linear x-max and colliding with the rear bump plate. This will cause damage down the road if left as is.
SOURCE: my subs sound distorted and dont pound right
Are you sure the polarity is correct on the sub's connectors? This is very important as reversing them will cause the sub to pound inward instead of out. Make sure the wires are thick enough and that the amp's + connector goes to the red(or +) connector on the sub and that the amp is grounded properly to a clean piece of metal on the car's body. This ground wire should also be as short as possible. Also make sure the fine-tuning for the bass level on the amp is adjusted correctly and that the sub's enclosure is the correct specification ie. Ported or sealed, right size, etc.

First off, never, ever replace a blown fuse with a bigger one (especially one that is almost twice as big) unless it's an absolute emergency. Most of the time, the reason a fuse blows is because of a problem with the device (in this case, the amp). By installing a larger fuse, there's a very good chance the problem will become permanent (i.e. busted amp).
The amp could be going into an overcurrent mode when the bass hits and power cycling itself to try and reset the problem. If this is the case, take it to a local electronics repair shop and see what they can do.
It's also possible the input voltage to the amp is dropping too low during the bass hit, making the amp restart. Try putting a 1.0F or higher capacitor on the battery to buffer the power during the bass hits.

turn them off and carefully push in on the cone (gently) and listen for scratching or scraping- push strait in and they should flow freely in and out if they DO without feeling or hearing scraping the subs are probably ok, next its either the amp is not powerful enough or the box is not soundly built, by that i mean its too small for the subs- is the box ported or sealed? if ported try plugging off the vent temporarily and see if bass increases if it does i would permanently seal the box
