HABCO ESM12 blowing warm air

Hi!
I have had this cooler in our garage unplugged for the past 3 years. I plugged it in the other day and it blows warm air and will not get cooler no even if I turn the adjustment to full (it remains at 80 degrees F). Prior to the past 3 years it was working perfectly. Do you have any suggestions or ideas on what I should do/look for? Thank you for your time.

Thanks for the quick response. How will I know if the compressor is working? Is it like a fridge where I have to listen for the "popping" sounds? And if it overloaded, what will I have to do [besides have the compressor replaced]? Thanks.

well open the back cover touch the compressor to see if is running if it is then is might be a leak or restriction if you know how to use a meter check amperage on compressor if is 0.3 amps is leak or restriction . if is not running the relay in the little box with wires by compressor repl that and it should run again

If the compressor is running and not tripping on overload it is the evaporator fan motor on the back of the cassette. Just worked on one and that was the issur.

I have a Frigidaire upright freezer it runs but only blowing hot air. Is there a reset button

Freezers expel warm air. There should be no 'blowing' inside. If it is expelling warm air, then it is working fine, eventually the expelled air should get cooler and cooler.

Yes I have a True 95 38 Beverage cooler and I bought it new 4 years ago , I have used it for 3 and 1 year it just sat not running , well I plugged it in the other day and it is only blowing warm inside and...

Could be many things... A bad thermostat, bad compressor, bad compressor start relay, refrigerant leak, moisture in the system, or even a blocked capillary tube. You would need a lot more information... mostly only the kind a technician can get by getting his hands on it. Sorry.

This frigidaire (side by side) only blows warm air on both sides

Good day,
First, I would unplug the machine, and then unplug the ice maker. Wait 20 minutes and plug in refrigerator. See if it cools without the ice maker in the equation.
Sounds more like starting components on the compressor, or a compressor starting to fail.
Post back with results.
Thank you.

The heater in my 2006 Dodge Grand Caravan only blows warm air while on low. If the dial is turned to high it blows cold air. What is the problem?

It sounds like the heater valve is not operating. Find the valve on the engine firewall passenger side and manually open the valve. Find it by following the 3/4 inch heater hose to the firewall where it is connected to the valve. Most likely the cable ( or vaccum hose)from the temperature dial to the valve needs replacing.

Either the start relay and start capacitor or the Adaptive Defrost control is burned out. If you have a voltage meter we can test a few things like the compressor and the capasitor. The part number for the Adaptive defrost is 241508001 and found inside the fresh food compartment behind the control panel. I can help you locate the problem if you like. Let me know, Thanks, Sea Breeze
