Question about Toshiba 28N33 28" TV

Very bad problem

Hi, i have one problem.....could you please help me....i'am facing problem on my Toshiba 2939UE...the problem was both of the picture on a left and right side but only from the center to bottom was curving....but after on the TV for a few second it will turn to normal back......i already changed all cap at vertical part, and a few cap at horizontal part....but still remain the same problem....please help!!

    i've changed 4 small cap ( 2 cap= 1uf,50v and 2 cap= 2.2uf,50v)near to jungle ic and its work.....thanx so much!

    please guru...after i changed 4 small cap, it seems like ok but i try to do monitoring and evaluation....i turn the tv off for 10min, when i turn on the tv back the problem still remain the same! something wrong with my jungle ic?

Bet you didnt change the two small waveshaper caps by the jungle IC or close to it.

    No probably another capacitor in the sweep power supply, that feeds the b+ to the vertical IC. It will have the same beginning numbers that the caps will in the vertical circuit.

Red light blinking on a toshiba usually means bad convergence ICs and blown pico fuse.
A repairman would charge about $350 to fix it.
soldering in these ICs is not for a non technical person.

I assume that was boot password. I have face with this before, and possible to hacked it is quite hard.

If possible, locate nearest toshiba service center near you, sent the laptop to them, they will reset the password in no time for a free

if locked under windows, i have other solution

Picture gone.

You have bad conv. ic's.On these sets when the ic's go bad it will usually pop a fuse or burn up a few safety resistors,causing ith video to go away.
