Hey,

it sounds like the battery is dead or disconnected.

replacing the battery would most likely fix the problem, I would inspect the old one and its connectors.

heres the cheapest battery I found, look around ebay

Acer N35 PDA

You guys need to reflash it using image, but Acer does not support this pda anymore... good news, I downloaded it before they removed it from webpage, so if you send me your email address and windows version, I will email you an image.

Hi. I'm afraid your device does nor supports Windows Mobile 5. You can see the details of your device here: (http://www.pdadb.net/index.php?m=specs&id=159). And also, Acer n35's RAM and ROM is quite low for operating Windows Mobile 5, because in WM5, usage technology of RAM and ROM is completely different. If you want to give the same look of WM5 to WM2003, you can use the WisBar Advance software. Hope this helps.

My n35 does not want to operate, apart from "screen alignment"

you have to finish the alignment procedure first.

that means you have to click 5 times with your stylus on the little cross that shows up in the upper left corner

after each click it will move to another corner,
for the last time it will move to the middle of the screen,

then you're done

Clock loses time

All memory on the n35 is powered by the n35 - if it goes completely dead, I usually leave it for a few weeks for the battery to completely flatten then check hard reset switch is off and recharge.

Acer N35 is running on Windows Mobile 2003. You can use Windows Mobile Device Center 6.1 for windows Vista to sync your PDA to your computer. You can Download Windows mobile device center 6.1 on this link :

http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobile/en-us/help/synchronize/device-center.mspx

After installing, plug in the Acer N35 PDA and Windows Mobile Center will; automatically start and you can transfer files and sync contacts etc.
