Pop off the bottom panel, there's two clips that are on top of the bottom panel, stick a screw driver or putty knife in and pop the clips and pull out the panel to remove, start the dryer,if the flame ignites and then after a few minutes it doesn't ignite any more you have bad gas coils located on top of the gas valve, part number 279834 and they're around 25 dollars,if the flame ignites but goes out to soon most likely you have a blockage somewhere from lint buildup, pull off the vent line from the back of dryer and see if it runs any better, also unplug the dryer, remove the lint filter, remove the bottom panel and then remove the metal duct that the filter slides into and clean it out,vac and blow out all lint with a shop vac on the motor and inside the cabinet,if your vent line is a long run, remove it from the back of dryer and blow it out with a leaf blower, first check outside to make sure there isn't a cage or anything blocking the air flow before you blow out the line,if there is remove it and don't put it back.let me know how you make out and good luck.

SOURCE: Kenmore dryer does not heat up. Mod#110 60912990

First I would make sure that you have 240volts coming into the dryer. Then I would check the thermal cut-off in is a fuse on the housing of the element. that should be it but if not look for the heater relay.

check the thermal fuse on the top of blower wheel housing, also while your there take off the cover of the housing and clean all the lint out,if your fuse was popped the lint buildup did it,check outside and make sure the air from dryer is blowing out and is not blocked,if it is blow out vent line if it's a long run with a leaf blower,if the thermal fuse is good read out the heater with a meter and if that's good read out the t-stats

Dryer blows cold air but no heat

The heating element is in the back of the dryer. Sometimes there is a small access panel that will allow you to check the terminals to the heating element. You will need an ohm meter or multimeter to check.
