My archos 70 internet tablet doesn't let me install 3rd party applications and also says some apps are not compatible with the device?

Considering this is the second archos 70 internet tablet (i stepped on the first one i had) but the first one let me install the apps such as 'kik messenger' and 'live profile' but the tablet i currently have doesn't and says ''yuour device isn't compatible to download these apps''. i have the android market installed also, if that helps, PLEASE HELP

How to Itunes song onto the Archos 28.

You can connect you Archos to you computer by the USB cable which have came along with the tablet.
From tablet you need to choose mass storage device when you connect the cable. Once Mass storage activated you will see your tablet or SD card on your computer. You can copy paste or drag and drop songs from your computer folder to archos tablet Music or Media folder.

I have a nook app on desktop on my laptop; was given an archos 101, I connected the USB cable to laptop & archos, dragged nook app to USB, but nothing show on the android

first you will need to go to Settings > applications > and then checkmark unknown sources. Then you will have to go to your file manager (like astro) and click on the .apk. The android installer will run and install the app.

How do i copy .apk apps from my computer to my Archos 70 Internet Tablet and install them?

Just use the provided USB cable and connect the tablet to PC. Windows will recognize it as another drive (USB Mass Storage similar as USB HDDs and USB sticks). Copy the APK file anywhere (for example to Downloads folder. Then unplug from PC and run the Files application on Archos. Browse to the directory and clicking on the APK filewill start installation process.

Same here, come on archos at least post an aknowledgement on appslib! Day 4 of owning the device, don't let me down after choosing *you*.
