Slightly damp My Nokia 6015i got slightly damp when it was in my bag and my bag got pretty wet. I took the plates off and the battery out and let it dry for a while. Now it works but the only thing the screen displays is the start-up/shut-down blue color. Anything I can do like replace the screen or something other than sending it in.

open as many attachments of the camera you can, like eye piece , battery cover lens etc , do this with no battery removed, take a hair dryer with temp setting set to slightly higher than warm blow out all the damp and wet sides , turn on the camera after an hour
Open it up, remove the battery. Clean the battery contacts if they are dirty (but be careful - batteries can give you a shock). Clean it with a lightly damp (not wet) cloth, and place it in a warm dry place to dry off with the battery removed, and case open.
Do you need to Unlock it from service provider lock...You can visit the site Prounlocking.com/nokia-6015i/rs8wp9/ get the unlock code and unlock NOKIA 6015I easily...
your battery is probably bad. take out the battery and plug it up and try to turn it on without the battery in. if it works just replace the battery. if not then your phone is fried.
This is very easy. Take the back off the phone. Then turn the phone upside down and with the key pad facing you, grasp the bottom of the faceplate with your right thumb and pull outward, while at the same time wiggling. Do not worry about the snapping or cracking sounds, that is normal.
Be very careful on cleaning the LCD. They are sensitive and use a lint free rag.
Remove battery and power. Take apart as much as possible. wash any wet/sticky parts in de-ionised water (as used for topping up batteries), allow to thoroughly dry before re-assembling and powering up. Leave at least 24 hrs to dry.
Try not to get circuit board too wet, but if it does not work then you have nothing to lose!
Liquid on keyboard can be very difficult to fix as damp gets under the membrane - even if computer works the keyboard may not but you could always use USB keyboard.
If you have any Silica Gel packets, put notebook and all parts in a plastic bag with them to absorb all moisture (but make sure no powder gets into the components).
If it got wet, your best bet is to put it in a nice warm sunny place and let it dry for at least a week. If you're feeling confident, you may want to open it up to assist with the drying process. If you're camera got wet in salt water... well, there's nothing much you can do there. Good luck!
