Just over the last couple days our 32" Phillips Tube TV only 3 years old starting acting up, wouldn't turn on picture/sound at all, then it finally would with the green blinking light....Now sometime's it turns on without anything so I am curious on what this could be and how much it would maybe cost to get fixed? Thanks for any help!!!!

My Phillips 42PF7320/79 Flat Panel TV won't turn on, screen stays black but green pwr light is on, after a lil while the green light flashes a couple of times then goes off itself completely

This idea may be worth a try. Look at the buttons on your remote. If you see a button that is marked "TV" give that button a push and then give the "Power" button a push. Wait for a while! sometimes this takes a while to turn the TV on or off. You may have to do this a couple of times depending if the power was off or on when you started doing this. If you started with the set off, sometimes it takes a while for the set to turn on.

Green picture

you have a defect in the tube. the green gun has a low emission problem. sometimes you can correct it by running the heater grid above ground. also when it goes green try tapping the front of the tube with a scredriver very gently, carbon build up on the guns can short it to the heater grid.
