Songs skip mid tune? not ev song but enuf 2drive u nuts

Update the firmware.
Reload the songs.
If the problem persists:
Re-rip the CD songs in Mp3 format in Windows Media Player
Then reload the songs. WMA format has a checkable option that is normally turned off by default, but must be turned on inside your Windows Media Player - it is much easier to reconvert the songs into Mp3 format than to tell you how to change this WMA option.

Creative Labs Muvo V100 won't play my music

ncw29

If this keeps happening most likely you have a bad file on the player. So I would recommend that any files this happens on to remove them and get a new copy of the file from another source to put on the player.

Let me know if you have any more problem or questions

Adding Songs from CDs onto my MP3 Player

If you're using Windows, then use Windows Media player to rip your music into WMA. If you don't want to do that, use CDdex to rip your music from CD to MP3. The problem probably lies in whatever program your using to rip your music. To your player. http://cdexos.sourceforge.net/

Songs are skipping

if you're songs are in wma format, the license has expired

Use mp3 formatted songs and you won't have these types of problems

WMA is temporary, Mp3 is forever

One time I downloaded about 225 songs in my RCA MP three player and typically whenever I use it they remain in their. But, for some reason, I went to use it tonight, and it not only has 46 songs now but...

If you still have those songs on your computer, try reformatting the player and then re-adding the songs to your player. If you need help reformatting on Windows, then goto Start. When the menu pops up, look for My Computer on the right hand side. Click on My Computer. Make sure your player is plugged in correctly. Now, find your player in the My Computer window and right click on it to bring up a small menu. There should be an option to Format on the menu. Click that. When the format window comes up look at the pull down menu and make sure it says FAT or FAT32 on it, not NTFS!. Now click Start and wait for it to format. There you go. If it doesn't work after that, then change the format you used (like if you just used FAT32, try plain FAT if it's available, never NTFS). Hope this helps.

My sansa e250

If you want to delete EVERY track off the player, then reformat the player in Windows Media Player - it's a shortcut - see my "tips and tricks" on formatting mp3 players

If there are artist, album traces, then you need to click on every subfolder under your device in Windows Media Player and delete every trace that way - tedious, but effective

-Tha Mp3 Doctor
There are 2 ways to format an mp3 player - if you were formatting the mp3 player from "My Computer," then try reformatting from Windows Media Player instead - I have a "tips and tricks" entry on How to Format an Mp3 Player for details

If that doesn't work, then double-click on My Computer, double-click on the Sansa player, and go to the various folders that it lists - music, voice, etc. Delete the songs ONLY - do not delete the dat, bat, ini, inf, or other system files

Bad track

I had this problem and called sandisk tech support. They had me reformat the player from windows. Then unplug and restart it. After that it worked like new. Of course i had to reload all of my tunes after the reboot.

Songs and radio skips like a scratched cd

Your mp3 player works like a hard disk, make sure that it was not moving when you are listening to your music. If the problem is the same try to use a new headset/earphone on it. Loose connections on your headset/earphone makes you think that your mp3 player skips.

A Simple Thank you is Good enough

Player won't play some songs - It states "No Authority" and won't play them

That generally means that the song was purchased online. Music purchased on line will sometimes not be allowed to transfer to mp3 players. That's to keep you from buying a song, putting it on your player and then transferring it to another computer. Part of the anti-piracy deal. If the songs that won't play were not purchased on line, then there may be deeper problems with your player and you may need to reformat the device.
