Monitor problems My view sonic is only a little over a year old. It keeps turning off, I could just hit the button and it would come back on, now it will not come on. Is it worth it to get fixed or is there a quick fix. it is 20 inch monitor.

You need to check View Sonic's Web Site and see if your LCD is still under warranty. Some manufacturers carry a 3 year warranty on their LCD's.

I have 2 View Sonic 32" LCD monitors that are used as televisions. One of the monitors randomly turns off, and takes a couple of attempts to power back up. The other recently just quite powering up,...

You may have power supply problem due to bad caps, open it up and look at the power supply module for bulging top or leaking. To have it repair will more likely to be over $100 plus parts if you can find the shop to repair them.

ViewSonic Monitor screen gone black

There are two places to look for the problems, the backlight inverter board and the power supply. Look at the power supply first since it is easier to get to, look for burnt parts, bad capacitors, etc.

It's nearly 1 1/2 year back i brought my View Sonic E70fB monitor and now when ever i turn on my monitor the monitor settings menu is coming up automatically and fixing with its own settings ......... like...

problem with the control board behind the buttons, my best advice would be to call viewsonic at (800) 688-6688. If your monitor happens to be unde warranty then setup a return to them so they can fix the problem. If your monitor is not under warranty then call them to get a part number for the control board behind the buttons and then search for the replacement part yourself and save some money that way and replace it.

ViewSonic E70fB Brightness & Contrast problem

Sounds like the buttons or the button panel are messed up. Or it has gotten moisture in it.

The only time i have seen this was when one of the buttons were malfunctioning, and we ended up replacing the monitor.

Sound on the View Sonic Monitor

Yes, they are on the front of the screen. There should be a volume up and down button right on the front (usually to the left of the power). If there isn't a separate up and down, try the Menu or 1 and 2 buttons.
