On the back of the bottom door, is a led code which will tell you what could be wrong. I would turn power off, disconnect the thermostat wires, but unit back
together turn power on, blower should not run.
Next make sure fan switch at thermostat is not in the on position. Turn power off and put a jumper between
r and w. Turn power on the blower may come on and
then shut off, heat should come on and then blower
again. If this is true, then you have a problem with
the thermostat or thermostat wires, make sure these
wires are not touching
Residential furnaces have exterior filter boots supplied by installer, commercial york units have filter access doors. If this is a roof top unit your filters would be in the door to the left of the blower compartment.
Mostly likely the problem is in the pressure switch that tells the board that the blower started and it is okay to fire the burner. The pressure switch is usually a 2" or so round thing about 1" thick, it will have one or two tubes coming out of it that go to the blower or heat exchanger. Make sure that the tube is not cracked or that it has not come off at either end.
The pressure switch can be jumped out to check out if that is the problem, but you need to jump it out after the cycle has started and the switch needs to open after a cycle for the heater to refire again, so that fix would be very temporary. But it may tell you for sure what the problem is.
the wire diagram should tell you how. it all depends where wires lead to. be very carefull, capacitors can be dangerous. brown usaully go to fan black usaully goes to common red usaully goes to herm or compressor. it all depends where wires come from
Put a plastic bag over the control board that will allow it to breath. you can add sealant to joint but you should clean the old off first. Then use some cork tape after sealant dries. You may also use pvc glue but it will never come out after that, but can be cut w/ saw if that becomes nessary.
If your fan is making noise the blade or blower wheel is either hitting something or the bearings in the motor are bad and the motor needs to be replaced.
