You need to unfreeze it.............

Are you with ATT or is it a sim from another network? If it's a non ATT sim, it won't work until you get the phone unlocked. Either att can give you the unlock code or there are sites you can go to and pay to get it unlocked. You would have been better off buying an unlocked phone.
