It can be bad power supply due to bad caps, bad backlights inverter board that draws too much current so the TV goes into shutdown/restarting cycle.

Why my 42" sanyo DP42841 HDTV LCD SCREEN GOES BLACK ON THE LEFT SIDE?

That sounds like a faulty LCD panel tab. The only true fix is to replace the screen. This usually isn't cost effective.

I have 46 in sanyo I purchased from walmart in late 2007. The tv will come on for just a second and then cuts off again. I don't know what to do I can't get it to come on

Try unplug, replug tv an hour later.Tv should reset it self back to factory setting.Should work now. Not,than the power supply board is dead. That the board, where the power a/c cord plug into it.Tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a refurbish power supply board for the replacement.

My new Sanyo HDTV LCD won't come on, although the on light is on.

If your Tv is in warranty or you have a cover plan, you need to return the Tv for repair or replacement.Your Tv sounds like it has a power supply fault.

Sanyo 46' flat screen tv - has issues like all of a sudden it will make a high pitched noise and then the TV goes out - the picture freezes and then the screen goes black

our Sanyo Flat screen tv freezes, makes a loud noise, then turns off then back on automatically. It does it more frequently while watching an exciting part of a movie

I have a Sanyo 46 inch flat screen hdtv purchased from walmart aug. 31rst, 2008. Sure enough, 13 months later my tv is having picture problems and getting worse. It started having portions of the screen...

I have the same problem, my television is faded black on the left side with lines on the left top side. I have had the 46 inch unit for 1 year and 7 months. I am planning to write a demand letter to Sanyo and then taking them to small claims court woth evidence that this is a common problem with their units that they know about and is not trying to remedy. Also the Attorney general in Texas should have an interest in them (Walmart and Sanyo) selling these defective proucts in the state.

Cracked screen repair LCc46d62u

You can't repair cracked LCD screens, they can only be replaced. Unfortunately LCD screens cost more than the TV is worth. If you do happen to find a replacement screen, it's a pretty simple job (just a bunch of screws you have to remember where they go.) You can email me [email protected] if you need more detailed instructions.
