Hi gotta problem wid my bush home theatre..the subwoofer aint workin and even wont show the volume tried switchin on n off but still aint workin n i've also tried 2 swap de sockets no changes.It was workin for 6mths plus...any idea wot cld be de problem?Many thanx

Gotta find an audio output from the TV and run it to aux input on the home theatre, select the aux function and it should work, if your tv has no audio out see if it has a headphone jack you can use as an audio out, can get a cable with 3.5mm headphone jack one 1 end and rCA red/white on the other, becareful when doin this as the audio output level froma headphone jack maybe controlled by the tV's volume itself. keep tV volume low and use the home theatre volume if your doing it that way

Hi, I am sorry to say that there is probably a fault. First check the fuses if able (a possibilty). If not that then will need to go in for repair.

some devices these days have a built in volume control, try using your remote for which ever dvd player or satalite bix you use, on push the volume up button on it while you have the volume on the tv maxed out so that you will be able to tell a defference if it works or not.

the woofer is being overdriven and the voice coil is hitting the magnet structure.eventually it will damage the coil end and it will scrape in the gap.

Here is how you fix it. Its really easy actually take a look at your Subwoofer 99% of the time you can control two controls for your bass somewhere around the Subwoofer. If you raise the volume of your Subwoofer you'll get more bass. Try it and let me know how this works out for you alright.
