Premier Plus Model#MHE62-30H-045DV Ser#45T421608 I just purchased this hot water heater.I had it professionally installed by a plumber. We had hot water before I went to bed but when I woke in the morning the water was only slightly warm now it is cold. The plumber returned said he was getting a bad reading on the bottom element. So we replaced it.Still didn't work so we replaced the bottom Thermostat. Still didn't work replaced the top Thermostat. Still doesn't work.Your dealership Graninger's Mobile Home Supply madee me pay for the top thermostat even though this should have some sort of warranty.

Sounds like you have a power problem. or worst than that a leak . So lets look at the leak first. Turn off the water supply at the water heater on top. This valve should be on the cold side of the heater on top.

Turn it off, check and see if you have pressure in the house by turning on a faucet. It should run for a second then stop. That is good if it does. Leave the valve off on the heater and check that your breaker is on. Reset the breaker by turning it on and off.

Wait about 2 hours turn the heater back on and check to see how hot the water is hot then you might have a leak in the building. If there is not or little hot water. Check the wires where it connects to the water heater. You might only have one wire that is connected right.

The best thing to do is to get a amo meter and check to see if you have 220 if you dont have 220 you will not warm up the water the way it should.

Thanks Richard

Tempra plus not heating all water

This issue may be caused by several factors, including a malfunctioning or improperly sized water heater, clogged pipes, or a malfunctioning thermostatic mixing valve. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue:
  1. Check the size of your water heater: If your water heater is too small for your home's needs, it may not be able to supply enough hot water to all areas of your home. Consider upgrading to a larger water heater.
  2. Check for clogged pipes: If your hot water pipes are clogged with mineral buildup or debris, water flow may be restricted, causing reduced hot water supply. Have a plumber inspect your pipes and clean them if necessary.
  3. Check the thermostatic mixing valve: If your home is equipped with a thermostatic mixing valve, it may be malfunctioning and causing the issue. Have a plumber inspect and replace the valve if necessary.
  4. Check for leaks: If there are any leaks in your hot water pipes, the water pressure may be reduced, causing reduced hot water supply. Have a plumber inspect your pipes and repair any leaks.
  5. Adjust the temperature settings: Make sure the temperature settings on your water heater are properly set. If the temperature is set too low, you may not be getting enough hot water.
If these steps do not resolve the issue, it is recommended to contact a licensed plumber to inspect and repair your hot water system.

Why do I suddenly have no hot water in my electric Premier Plus water heater?

1st check the circuit breaker that supplies power to the water heater. If that is OK then check and see if you have power to the heating elements on the water heater. If not then check and see if the thermostat on the water heater has power to its connections and verify that it is calling for the water to be heated. Last if all these checks are OK then you must have a burnt out heating element. Some can be replaced but you will have to drain the water from the heater before replacing the elements.

No hot water

You may need a circulating pump but I can't explain why it was fine before and not now. What I would do is turn the supply off to the water heater along with the power, remove the outlet supply. Open all hot side faucets in the home, using compressed air blow through the pipes if the air comes back at you, then there is a blockage before the hot manifold. If air moves, shut one faucet off at a time to try and determine where the culprit is. I don't know what else to tell you other than that. If air moves through the faucet every time, then you may want to put a circulating pump on. The only other expination is that when they repaired the pipe, some debris or eccess solder is blocking the hot supply. I have seen rocks in units as well. Because of the fix, you may want to take apart each faucet in the house and using a flashlight, look in the hot supply side to see if you can find any debris in those as well. Its not unusual after a repair, to have debris caught in them. Hopefull this helps.
